Agents: Mute Notifications on a Single Search

Pause notifications on client searches once they've gone under contract and are about to close on a home.

What does it mean to mute a search?

When a search is muted, it will continue to run and send new listings to the listings feed, but it will stop any notifications from being sent via email or push notification.

How do I mute a search?

To mute a search, you will start by locating the Client feed of the search you wish to mute, and then follow these steps:

  1. Open the "..." menu to the right of the Client's name

  2. Then click on "Edit searches"

  3. And click on the search you wish to mute

  4. In the upper right-hand corner, you will see a second "..." menu, click here to open the options

  5. Click on "Mute Search (OFF)" This will then change to "Mute Search (ON)"

How do I unmute a search?

To un-mute a search, you will start by locating the listing feed of the search you wish to un-mute, and then follow these steps:

  1. Open the "..." menu to the right of the listing feed's name

  2. Then click on "Edit searches"

  3. And click on the search you wish to unmute

  4. In the upper right-hand corner, you will see a second vertical "..." menu, click here to open the options

  5. Click on "Mute Search (ON)" This will then change to "Mute Search (OFF)"

Can my clients mute or unmute searches as well?

Yes, all feed members will have access to mute or unmute a search.
