What is an invitation?

Zenlist is a private search platform, which means that homebuyers or renters need to work with an agent in their area to provide them access to search on Zenlist.

An invitation is sent to your clients to grant them access to Zenlist and encourage them to collaborate with you on Zenlist.

How do my clients accept my invitation?

Once you have invited your client(s), they will receive an email and/or text message with the invitation details. This will include a unique invitation code to connect with you right away and a link to get started.

The invitation email looks like this:

Is there a way that I can skip the invitation for my clients?

No, Zenlist is an invite-only, agent-to-client collaboration tool; All clients working on Zenlist must have an account connected to their agent.

Can a client sign up for Zenlist without an invitation?

Yes! If a client does not have an invitation they can choose to look up their agent by name. These clients will be sent to you as a new lead request for you to review!

Can a client be invited to Zenlist by more than one agent?

Clients can be invited to Zenlist by as many agents as they would like, however, each client can only work with one agent at a time.

Can a client work with more than one agent at a time?

No, clients can only be connected to one agent at a time, unless the second agent is added as a Co-Agent on the listing feed.

I tried to invite my client, but it said โ€œYou have already invited this email address!โ€ What gives?

Your client already has an active or pending Zenlist account that is associated with you. Be sure to check your invites, pending leads, and active client lists!

I invited my client a while ago and they never signed up. How do I re-send them the invitation so they can sign up now?

If your clients never accepted your original invitation, you can re-send those details by following these steps:

  1. Find the client's listing feed in your account under the Client tab

  2. Open the "..." menu to the right of their name

  3. Then, click to "Re-Send Invite" to trigger a new email and/or text message to your client(s)

How do I invite a client with a saved search?

We highly recommend inviting your clients with a saved search so that they can view properties right away! To invite a client with a search, you will:

  1. Start in the Search tab of your account and apply all of their filters

  2. Then, click on "Save Search"

  3. In the next window, click on "New Client"

  4. Enter their name, email address, and phone number

  5. Once your first client is added, you can add any other Co-Buyers or Co-Agents to this search feed by selecting "New Client" again after completing the first invitation

  6. Next, click on "Next"

  7. Give the search a name

  8. And finally, click "Save"

How do I invite a client without a search?

Towards the very top of your client list will be a small "+" icon where you can invite a client without needing a saved search. You'll enter their name, email address and phone number and send the invitation off!

How do I bulk upload a list of clients?

Start in the Client tab and click on the icon above your client list that is a person with a plus sign to Invite Client. Then choose Bulk Upload. You will then be prompted to upload a client list (Excel or CSV). Super easy!

**Agent accounts cannot exceed 4,000 outstanding client invitations at a given time.**

I got a message about a new lead, where do I find that?

All of your leads will be available for your review in the "Requests" tab of your client list, here:

How do I invite a Co-Buyer to an existing feed?

If your client wants to add a Co-Buyer after they have already accepted your invitation, you can manage those feed members in the "..." menu to the right of their name.

For more information on inviting Co-Buyers, click here.

When I invite a new client, do I need to start with the invite first or the search first?

There is no right or wrong way to invite a client!

If you know that you are going to be saving a search for these clients either way, I would start there to save you some steps along the way.

However, if you do not plan on setting up a search for this client or prefer that your clients set up their own, start off with the invitation and save yourself some of that work!
